AeroFile
AeroFile Publications was originally formed in March
1995, specifically to publish the first edition of Military Aircraft Designations
and Systems. A few months later, in May 1995, AeroFile published
it's second volume, United States Navy Hull
Numbers.
Admittedly, both were low volume printings, but
carried a modest following. Sold mostly at conventions and trade shows, the two
books were praised for their detail and comprehensiveness.
When the (much needed) update of Military
Aircraft Designations and Systems was nearing completion, it was
decided that this should be the first of AeroFile's
works to be published on the Net. This website was set up to provide
information on AeroFile itself and, primarily, the 2nd Edition of Military
Aircraft Designations and Systems.
On the following pages, you will find
information, pricing, specifications and even samples of our works to assist in
your decision to purchase them. Should you decide to, then click on the order page and enter your information. Should you decide
not to, that's OK too. But, do tell your friends and
